Citi say we are: more short squeezing will push the S&P 500 to 4,000 when longs could be tempted to take profits...

“There is potential for further short squeezes supporting market gains for another week or two given the size of the remaining short base,” - Citi Analysts

Last week saw $10 billion worth of shorts unwound at the largest rate since April, although $21 billion shorts still remain, and are sitting in loss.

Citi added that longs could be tempted to take profits at 4,000 points.

Honda & Nissan will be pleased - they expect to sell 250,000 fewer cars because of a global chip shortage...
