Famous short selling research provider, Citron Research, has decided to stop writing about short ideas after the ridiculous Gamestop rally we've seen over the past few weeks.
Andrew Left, the owner released the video below just now 👇
'Twenty years ago, I started Citron with the intention of protecting the individual against Wall Street, against the frauds of the stock promotions that were just all over.
Last year, the performance of the Citron Fund and Citron Research on our long recommendations, was up 121%,' said Left.
And it makes sense.
Why in this market would you short?
Selling stocks is illegal in this market, we know that.
Liquidity rules king, and until it becomes more risky to buy stocks (interest rates would need to rise), why short?
